Joseph Pohle & Arthur Preuss

Joseph Pohle (1852–1922) was a German Catholic theologian who served as professor of apologetics and dogmatic theology at the Catholic University of America. His twelve-volume Dogmatic Theology was translated into English by Arthur Preuss between 1911 and 1920, becoming the standard reference work for English-speaking seminaries in the first half of the twentieth century.
