The Preserving of the Human Race in the State of Innocence

  1. The human race is preserved by propagation. When therewere only two human beings, they received God’s command (Gen.1:28), “Increase and multiply and fill the earth.” Hence,in the state of innocence, there would have been generation.

  2. And this generation would have been accomplished as itis now accomplished, but with orderly tendency, and with fullsubjection to reason, without any unruly passion.
